Here I am, back form this incredible place which is Cartagena in Colombia, with souvenirs all over my head and a bit of nostalgia I have to say. I was waiting for this trip for a very long time and I wasn’t disappointed at all. But here I won’t talk to you about the city and all my travel tips (don’t worry it’s coming in the next post!), I will talk more about my look.
Indeed you might know from my stories that I like to prepare quite in advance my looks and therefore my suitcase especially for a trip like that… So when Clergerie, a French high-end footwear brand, reached to me and proposed me a collaboration I had no hesitation to bring with me a pair of their perfect summer sandals.
Robert Clergerie the founder of the brand discovered the world of shoes in 1970 but the brand was created a bit later in 81. What I like about this brand is there are always ahead of time and produced in France in the manufacture of Romans, but also the use of natural materials such as raffia, and natural leather mixing masculine and feminine, with an “avant-garde” approach. Since 2 years now Clergerie as a new artistic director David Tourniaire-Beauciel which is as well a native from Romans-sur-Isère, I feel the brand is turning very well and could insert their designs in my everyday looks!
So their summer collection is really to die for, I had the chance to discover it at the Geneva boutique and tried almost every models, the quality of the shoes are really special and the prices very correct for a luxury brand!
Regarding my dress you might have recognize a special touch from the designer Self-Portrait, but what attracted me is that the material and the pattern is quite new from their usual style. I wanted a dress which is colorful and can be worn from day to night easily.
Finally the bag is a little treasure that I found in the local markets of Cartagena after seeing so many mochilas bag I was a bit tired of always these same design, I wanted something traditional but not seen everywhere and this one with the details of shells and raffia will be perfect for this summer.
